Quite the adventure to get from South Florida to Hawaii, including not only changing planes, but changing (or going to the wrong) airport...
I spent 10 days in a guest house on the golf course of the Princeville Resort on the North shore of Kauai, right on Hanalei Bay. Absolutely gorgeous scenery. My heart and soul belong to the Caribbean, but this place is truly something special. I'd go back any day...

If you go, I highly recommend taking a helicopter tour. Not only will you get the opportunity to take lots of great shots, but you see the entire island in about an hour from the air. Go early in your trip and you can spot areas for later exploration and shooting.
